Hey Mom - I'm on cholesterol medication now. You can stop nagging me.
And thanks for nagging me...my LDL is 185.
OUCH!
Seriously....thanks.

The cycle of employment....
Many years ago, I worked at PTC with Peter and Nick. Then we all got laid off, more or less.
Then I ended up at FedEx Kinko's as an FTC (Field Tech Consultant).
Then I quit that job and ended up at EMC with Peter and Nick again.
Yesterday all the FTC's at FedEx Kinko's got laid off.
'Guess I'll stop wondering whether leaving FedEx Kinko's was the "right thing" to do.
:)

Why some people shouldn't have kids....
I finally found something inspiring to blog about. A headline I just read at KSL.COM states:
"Boy injured while car surfing"My first thought is a bunch of teenagers screw screwing around with mom's car. But noooo. Let me give you the highlights along with my commentary:
"A 10-year-old boy who fell from his mother's car while car surfing" Ok, it happens
Police quote: "His mother....told me she has let her kids ride like this before and never thought anything like this would happen. " Whoa, what the f**k?
"Apparently mom thought that was OK". Apparently mom is a retard.
"They held onto the side- view mirrors and inside handles as she drove a lap around a mobile home park " Where is Jeff Foxworthy? I feel like a 'you might be a redneck' joke coming on.
"the victim's mother said she never saw her son fall or let go." I guess she was too busy smoking a cigarette, texting on her phone and painting her nails at the time.
Quote from police "He impacted his head on the cement. He has some critical injuries." Falling of a moving car onto pavement will do that.
The boy's mother said, "I was really stupid in what I did," and, "we're lucky, we're so lucky right now." Okay, first part of quote says you realize what you did. Second part of the quote, excuse me? Uhhh..did you see the police quote?
The boy's mother says no parent should allow their child to do anything like this. Oh my god, a revelation!!! All is forgiven, let's just forget about this whole incident.
